Shane Harper has just revealed the details for his upcoming exclusive Target release of his self-titled debut album, which will feature 12 tracks including singles, "One Step Closer," and "Rocketship," along with four unreleased tracks. The album will be released through Deep Well Records (launched by Glee Executive Music Producer, Adam Anders) exclusively at Target on Valentine's Day, February 14th."It's so incredible to record an album under the direction of someone I respect and is so extremely talented," said Shane on working with Adam Anders. Special guests for the album include rapper Prophet on the track "Know What I Know," and his co-star Bridgit Mendler from Disney's Good Luck Charlie on "Wait For Me." The All American Rejects new single, "Beekeeper's Daughter," is set to appear in an upcoming episode of CW's 90210. The episode will premiere on January 31st, which is also the same day that the song will be available for digital download. "Beekeeper's Daughter" comes from the band's highly anticipated album, Kids in the Street, due out March 27th.The Rejects are currently headlining the "Shaking Off the Rust Tour," and just announced that they will be supporting Blink-182 on their upcoming European summer tour. "We're stoked to be hitting the road once again with Blink-182," said guitarist Mike Kennerty, "not a bad way to kick off our summer, eh?" The band will also headline a Spring tour starting March 30th. Tour dates announced soon. Upcoming pop songstress Guinevere recently premiered a brand new EPK interview on Idolator.com where she spoke about recording her songs and carving out her sound. "There was just this really cool, grimy, heavy bass," says Guinevere about her first time in the studio. "That's when I was like, 'you know what, this works. These beats are awesome.'"In the EPK, Guinevere also admits to being a bit of a nerd. "Everyday after school. I would watch Star Trek," she says, " and ever since then I've been a serious Trekkie." She talks about the video game Call of Duty, describing it as an outlet for her to "get a little crazy online." Guinevere, who just wrapped her first round of headlining club gigs and will have more coming soon, is about to hit the road with the Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter for shows across the US (tour dates, below). Pop-rock singer-songwriter Cory Lamb is on the rise thanks to the release of his debut album,Break the Cycle. Cory worked on the record for two years in Los Angeles with the help of producer Andy Duncan (founding member of OK Go), and has caught the attention of actor Stephen Baldwin who helped produce Cory's first video. Cory is preparing to release his new single, "Safe In Your Arms," which fans can download mid-February.The video for the album's second single, "It's a Good Day," was directed by Life Garland (Lil Wayne, Jessie J) and is streaming now over at YouTube. The video has been in rotation across the country at locations such as McDonald's, Hot Topic, Taco Bell, and more. U2 have just released the documentary,From The Sky Down on DVD, Blu-Ray and video download with bonus interviews and performances. The film documents the history of the band up through the making of the pivotal 1991 album,Achtung Baby.Early in 2011, the band returned to Hansa Studio in Berlin to discuss the making of Achtung Baby with Academy Award winning director Davis Guggenheim (It Might Get Loud, Waiting for Superman, An Inconvenient Truth). Originally screened as part of BBC's Imagine Series across the UK last October, the film was also the first ever documentary to open the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival. Twenty Years after the release of U2's Achtung Baby, Guggenheim charts the path toward this groundbreaking album. Guggenheim uses animation and unseen footage from Berlin and Dublin alongside conversation to reveal what is now a key chapter in U2's career. "In the terrain of rock bands - implosion or explosion is seemingly inevitable. Los Angeles electro-hip hop group, Far East Movement, have just released the official music video for their new single, "Jello" featuring Rye Rye. The video, directed by Matt Alonzo (Lil Wayne, Soulja Boy), shows the group crashing a political event with Tiger Woods, Oprah, and others."Jello" comes from the group's upcoming album, Dirty Bass (due later this year via Cherrytree/Interscope), and is available now on iTunes. With the video's premiere, the talented young singer is gearing up for the release of her debut single "If You Love Me," which is inspired by influences like Brandy and Aaliyah. AWOLNATION spent most of 2011 on the road, hot off the heels of their hit single "Sail." The band have now released a 2011 Tour Yearbook documenting the year that was. The clip features a remix of "Burn It Down" by electronic wizards Innerpartysystem, which can be downloaded for free via a Tweet to Download.AWOLNATION have announced they will be performing at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival Sunday, April 14th and 21st in Indio, CA. AWOLNATION will be sharing the stage with the likes of Radiohead, Noel Gallagher, Feist, Kasabian, and The Shins. The band are currently on tour in the U.S. supporting their debut album release "Megalithic Symphony" and will be going back to the U.K. on February 10th to play the HMV Next Big Thing at the Garage in London. The band also has additional headlining shows in the UK and Europe lined up. The band's current single for "Not Your Fault" is close to cracking the top 10 on the U.S. alternative radio charts and top 10 at Canadian Modern Rock radio. Pop sensation JoJo and Cambio, the online destination for teens and young adults, have teamed up with AT&T's "It Can Wait" campaign to help combat the texting while driving epidemic. According to Car and Driver, texting while driving is more dangerous than driving under the influence and those who send text messages while driving are 23 times more likely to be in a crash.Throughout the month of January, Cambio will release three videos about the risks of texting and driving narrated by the twenty-one- year-old-platinum-selling songstress, JoJo, through Cambio Impact — Cambio's new social causes platform.
