“Candlelight Red” delivers hard edged yet melodic, powerful, emotion-driven music to its audience. Hailing from central PA, the band has recently completed its first full length cd with Grammy nominated producer "David Ivory". The band spent a lengthy period of 2011 on tour with KISS, Saving Abel, Sevendust, 10 Years, and others.

In 2010, CLR beat out over 10,000 other bands to win the 2010 national Guitar Center “Onstage” contest. The band was chosen from among twenty two regional contest winners by none other than Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS. CLR then had the honor of opening a show for KISS in Pittsburgh later in 2010.

Candlelight Red followed up the Guitar Center contest victory and their exploding regional buzz by inking a record deal with Imagen Records in late 2010. Prior to its recent and current tours with Eqypt Central and Saving Abel, the band had opened up for Rev Theory, Buckcherry, Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, Hellyeah, The Damned Things, Tantric, and others. Their debut album, The Wreckage is now available on iTunes.
