Terraplane Sun have released a video for the song "Get Me Golden" which is on the band's forthcoming EP Ya Never Know, to be released on July 16th via Trauma 2 Records. The video can be seen here. "Get Me Golden", the lead single, is available on iTunes now. Having kicked things off recently as an opener to Imagine Dragons at the Hollywood Palladium, the band is set to tour throughout the Summer in support of the new EP. Frontman Ben Rothbard dishes on "Get Me Golden", "Golden was written with the notion that if you really want something, you gotta go and get it. One thing we've learned as a band, and even as just individuals, is that very little will fall in your lap...and if it does, chances are it won't happen again. You need to really go after exactly what you want, whether it's love, a goal, a challenge, etc." To stay current with all things Terraplane Sun be sure to follow them on Facebook and Twitter.

Skillet have now released the official video for current single "Sick of It," the first single off the band's forthcoming album, Rise, which will be released June 25th via Atlantic/Word.

Rise follows the Grammy-nominated band's 2009 album, Awake, which was certified platinum in the US. Skillet were the only active rock band to achieve platinum status in 2012, and they were one of three rock bands (with Mumford & Sons and The Black Keys) to strike platinum sales that year.

Rise, their first concept album, tells the story of an American teen coming into adulthood and trying to figure out who he is in a world riddled with problems within and outside his control.

"The narrative idea happened after we had 10 or 11 of the songs chosen," lead singer/bassist John Cooper says. "As we recorded them, we started to realize there was something going on, that the album was really telling a story. Realizing that, I knew we needed to make it as powerful as we could."

The band recorded the album in Los Angeles where they re-teamed with producer Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, All American Rejects), who helmed Awake.

Skillet are direct support to Shinedown on the upcoming Carnival of Madness Tour. To stay current on all things Skillet, be sure to check out their official page, as well as their Facebook and Twitter pages.

Platinum-selling Texas quintet Flyleaf have just announced a string of Summer co-headlining tour dates with P.O.D kicking off on July 13th in Kenosha, WI and wrapping up on August 10th in San Diego, CA. Flyleaf bassist Pat Seals talked about the upcoming tour saying, "Flyleaf is very excited to hit the road this Summer with P.O.D.! Opening for them in 2005 on the Fall Brawl Tour was a very special experience for me, being a fan of the band since the release of "The Fundamental Elements of Southtown." P.O.D. live is always explosive and heartfelt - it will be a privilege to share the stage once again."

Loudwire spoke about new singer, Kristen May on her first tour with the band saying she "hit the stage with spunk and charisma. May has her own unique style and vocal deliverance, which was still both hardhitting and melodic. The singer also seemed incredibly comfortable with her new band mates onstage."

The tour supports Flyleaf's latest release, New Horizons, as critical acclaim keeps pouring in. Alternative Press gave it a 3-out-of-5 stars, ARTISTdirect called the album, "Best album to date," and Bloody Disgusting extolled is as "Fantastic." Fans can pick up the album on iTunes now.

Platinum selling rock band, Marianas Trench has now released their new EP, Face The Music, on Cherrytree Records. The EP features 4 tracks including their current single, "Desperate Measures," and "Haven't Had Enough," as well as brand new acoustic tracks of "Fallout" and "Haven't Had Enough."

"Fallout" (Acoustic) is exclusively streaming now for fans to hear over at PureVolume. Mike Ayley (bass player) spoke about the new track saying, "We are very happy to have an official acoustic version of 'Fallout' available for our fans. This is one of my favourite tracks on the album. I remember the first time I was in the studio and we were tracking the demo. We were playing around with the arrangement, working the drums part in particular, and it just completed itself. I love the way this track manages to utilize lots of harmonies, which is a real Marianas Trench trademark, yet is very easy to sing along to. Hope you enjoy Face The Music!"
